Going through DFE – self study process for school to be accredited
Excessive early dismissals are due to DFE process

Results were presented. Most answers ranges between strongly agree to agree in the positive.

School Uniform
New girls k-5 jumper to provide stronger brnding
2 year process for integration
2013-2014 new uniform will be mandatory
Tax Credit Initiative
Can save public schools money. FLA is excellent example
Bill will make it possible for businesses to be able to write off donations to private school donations towards tuition aid.
Bill is currently unworkable until passed and then it can be edited to be a workable bill
Key players are being determined to get the bill out of committee and into the full senate
Feb 7th is rally in Richmond. Travel logistics are still TBD. If interested please contact school.

Upcoming VIRTUS Training – Feb 16 from 6-10pm
All volunteers who have significant interaction with kids must attend
Fingerprints and background checks also required
Recertification must occur once a year

Must be registered to attend the class
Golf Tournament – Monday in May (happened on a ½ day)

Catholic Schools Week - Faith Academics & Service
Kicking off week with 11 am Mass on Sunday – Faith in our Parish
Monday - Faith in our Community Monday (Service projects for community)
Tuesday – Faith in our (dress down day, pizza, skating party)
Wed - Faith in Our Nation (appreciation for Military)
Thursday – Faith in our Vocations (talking to kids about various vocations)
Friday – Faith in our Faculty Staff and Volunteer (mass and reception for staff and volunteers) Parents needed for teachers lunch.
