Epiphany Etiquette
  • Students will demonstrate love, reverence and respect for Our Lord in church and out.
  • Students will show obedient and courteous behavior towards all adults.
  • Students will speak kindly and respectfully to others and about others.
  • Students will greet adults with a handshake (when appropriate) and with a "Good morning" or "Good afternoon".
  • Students will not pass between two adults who are talking unless it is absolutely necessary, and only after excusing themselves.
  • Students will not interrupt adults who are talking unless they say, "Excuse me," and wait to be acknowledged.
  • Students will stand when an adult enters the room, and address the adult appropriately.
  • Students will listen when being spoken to and not interrupt until the person addressing them is finished.
  • Students will offer their help whenever possible.
  • Students will solve conflicts with good ideas.
  • Students will walk silently in the halls, and use quiet voices when talking in the classroom and lunchroom.
  • Students will demonstrate good manners in the lunchroom.
  • Students will treat each other's possessions with care and respect, borrowing only with permission from the owner.
  • Students will do their own work to the best of their ability.
  • Students will dress according to the school uniform policy.
  • Students will refrain from using inappropriate language.
  • Students will work to keep their school clean.
